Before the First Class - Three Images

THREE IMAGES

1.THE BEST PIECE OF CREATIVE WORK
Mr.Burger loves music

I took this photo before my high school study, and several modifications (eg. adding text and drawing ) were made via adobe photoshop. As a typical science student in China, I had no experience in doing any conventional art work before or even did not have foundation knowledge of art. But since I was(and maybe still) fond of photography, I tried to create my own work by just capturing what interests me.

2.AN IMAGE OF A GREAT PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE
Pierre Chareau, Maison de Verre
Built in the early stage of the history of modern architecture, Maison de Verre (the Glass House) is a great piece that composed mostly by industrial steel and glass, even the components and furniture inside. Rather than using bricks and stones to  support the building as the old time, Maison de Verre is one of the very early building implement full steel-frame supporting structure. The whole building is like a well-designed machine, which followed the famous "House is a machine for living" by Le Corbusier.

3.AN ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
This photograph was taken in a hotel on my last trip in Japan. The light and shadow attracted me immediately when I walked into the room.

But when saying something beautiful, I think the one below moves me more than any other scenery.I saw it when wandering around Sapporo Clock Tower.

Sapporo Citizens' Charter
We the citizens of Sapporo, where the chimes of the Clock Tower can be heard, declare:
We shall work hard and build a prosperous city.
We shall keep our skies, streets, grass, trees, and waters clean.
We shall obey laws and make our city a pleasant place for all.
We shall make our city a happy place for our children who will build the future.
We shall raise our cultural standard through cultural exchange with the people of the world.
